"so what i argue for is taking over the #democraticParty from the #left"
I'm curious how you envision doing that.
so what i argue for is taking over the #democraticParty from the #left
the #Mamdani template
this confuses people
fake leftists, who do not argue for an ideologically #leftist position, but merely vibe mindless #cynicism and #toxicIdealism- not #voting therefore helping #MAGA, assume, merely because i ask for a #vote, that i am a corporatist shitlib
meanwhile, shitlibs think i am one of their own because i say "vote", when i despise the #democrats
do not lie about me
no disagreement only clarification:
#AOC/ #Mamdani are #DSA that ran as #democrats
the way forward is take over the #democraticParty, not 3rd party (or worse, not voting)
with #FPTP voting in the #USA a 3rd party vote only divides the left vote and #MAGA wins
( #parliamentary #FPTP like the #UK lends 3rd parties stability)
worse: no #vote because "dems suck." while true, that only keeps them sucking
show up in the #primaries and choose the AOC/ Mamdani #candidate
Qasim is right about the #DemocraticParty establishment
But I want to underline an important point:
"I won't #vote until centrist #Democrats magically turn left" is not a coherent position
What you do is you vote, in the #primaries, and replace them
They won't change. *You* have to vote
Not voting merely means they get worse, and #MAGA wins
Low voter turnout from the left helped them become as they are today
You have to vote
IN THE PRIMARIES
What did #Mamdani teach us?
