I keep holding out hope that more of my friends would be willing to leave those platforms owned by, frankly, alt-right scum. Owning major sources of information is the propagandist's dream, after all.
Since there's no corporate PR budgets on the Fediverse, I've been thinking that some central repository for printable promotional material like stickers and flyers could perhaps be helpful. To facilitate a grassroots movement, I suppose.
But where would such a thing be hosted? Should or can the Mastodon team play a role in this? Should the community build an independent #FediversePromotion database for it? It's hard to articulate these thoughts...
