Many of the features people wanted have always been available in the Fediverse, just not on Mastodon, and many that other services offer are still missing there.
The sole focus on Mastodon alone is a mistake that all Mastodon enthusiasts make, rather than promoting the Fediverse as a whole.
According to studies, only 10% use short-form messaging services; the rest use Instagram and TikTok.
However, I don’t see any mention of Loops, Pixelfed, Friendica, etc. from Mastodon users or in all the campaigns. Unfortunately, you’re silenced there.
These people tend to stand in the way of the Fediverse as a disruptive factor.
