Eine befreundete Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) sucht dringend eine Wohnung. Wegen Eigenbedarfskündigung müssen sie Ende August raus.

Eigentlich sind sie auf St. Pauli verwurzelt, inzwischen kommen aber auch andere Ecken in Hamburg infrage. Hauptsache, sie finden ein neues Zuhause.

Falls jemand was weiß: Meldet euch bitte. Und teilt den Beitrag gern. Die Zeit läuft und die Verzweiflung ist wirklich groß.

Ihr kenn die Instanz „tags.pub“? Das ist diese Domain, die Hunderte von Bots betreibt, nur um bestimmte Hashtags zu boosten.
DAS NERVT!

Ich habe schon die ganze Domain tags.pub blockiert, um diese ganzen scheiß Boost Bots die dort alle laufen los zu werden. Die Boosten mich immer noch. Ich will das nicht. Warum wird die Blockade der ganzen Domain ignoriert? Muss ich diese Hunderte von Drecksbots wirklich alle einzeln blockieren?
Oder können wir die Instanz einfach mal aus dem #Fediverse schmeißen?

Kann man irgendwie einen generellen Complain gegen so eine Instanz machen?

Just on the off chance, I am looking for some help from the fediverse in re-obtaining the following music album:

Fast & Louche, Top Shelf Jazz, 2009. Originally discovered via @pluralistic from his post (boingboing.net/2009/07/15/top-…). At some point in time the iTunes monster ate my copy and by the time I realised it was gone, the album was no longer available.

Additionally, The band appears to have long since disbanded and I can't find a way to contact them to re-acquire a copy.

I loved this album, so any help finding it again or putting me in contact with someone who can help would be hugely appreciated.

what is this tags.pub instance and should I block it
accounts from this instance boost my toots as soon as they are posted, the accounts that boost the posts have the same names as the hashtags used in the toot.

Here's something really useful I've found.

One of the great things about the Fediverse is being able to follow hashtags.

But.

If someone puts up a post using that hashtag, and no-one on your instance follows that person or anyone who shares it, it won't appear in your feed.

This is particularly common if you're on a small or single-user instance.

Here's the solution.

First, follow @_followback

It will follow you back.

And then tags.pub bot then reshare all of your posts that use hashtags.

So if you do a post with the hashtag #Fediverse, then @fediverse will share your post.

Here's where the magic happens.

The tags.pub bot will do the same thing to everyone else who follows that followback account.

So if you follow @fediverse, then you'll get a feed of everyone who uses #Fediverse on the Fediverse.

And you'll see their posts even if no-one on your instance follows them.

And it works for all hashtags.

Just put the name of the hashtag, followed by @tags.pub

So @tech follows all posts using #tech, for example.

Or @news follows all posts using #news
