A different first post of the day from me. My 101-year old dad died yesterday evening. It was a peaceful ending, in home hospice with fabulous caregivers who had known him for years with him 24/7 the past few weeks. And my brother was there, too, for the past few days. (We both saw Dad a couple weeks ago when he was more alert and communicative.)
I’m on my way to Florida for the funeral, etc. He was a pretty terrific father.
So here’s my #ThrowbackThursday: me at age one, my dad and my grandfather.
