but real leftism is effective action for a cause. leftism is not a psychological problem that immobilizes you

this has two terrible effects:
1. #moderation is a cost center for them. if you want to make money, you want to cut costs. therefore, it's cheaper for them to say "freeze peach!", decimate the #mod dept, and let #bigotry and #disinfo run wild
2. we say "don't feed the #trolls" but the unfortunate human baseline behavior is that controversy drives clicks, eyeballs, engagement. therefore, bigots and disinfo is *profitable*
#socialMedia didn't invent #bigotry, but it turbocharged it
1. a bigot can be their true selves online with few consequences
2. moderation is a cost. say "freeze peach", gut the mod dept, and save $
